Robert Evans serves as pastor-teacher of Christ Church in Livermore, California.  Licensed to the ministry in 1982, he earned a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and was, for many years, a psychologist in hospital and private practice before returning to seminary and earning a Ph.D. in systematic theology and entering into full-time ordained ministry.  He is also president of Veritas Ministries International—an international cultural apologetics ministry—Adjunct Professor of Practical Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary (PA), and a published author.  Dr. Evans and his wife, Kamrin, live with their daughter in the San Francisco East Bay; their eldest living in Waco, Texas, where he is a senior in the Baylor University Honors College, and their middle child living in Nashville, Tennessee, where he is a student at Belmont University.
